If you are looking to brighten up your smile, Morningside Dental Care offers a couple of different types of whitening procedures that fit within almost any budget and the results are quick! Almost everyone is a candidate for whitening or teeth bleaching. However, some dark teeth are much more resistant to the dental whitening procedures, especially tetracycline stained teeth. If you have dark or tetracycline affected teeth we recommend one of the following options:

Option 1

Deep Spa Dent Whitening: The Deep Spa Dent Whitening system is not your average whitening system. The Deep Spa Dent Whitening System consists of having two in-office whitening procedures done.

Teeth that are discolored with gray or reddish shades are most resistant to teeth whitening. Depending on the results you desire whitening may or may not be an option for you.

Option 2

Porcelain Veneers: Typically when you have very dark teeth (grey, brown or reddish undertones) – the gold standard has been to apply a porcelain veneer to that tooth. The color of that dark tooth is coming from DEEP within the core of the tooth (which is why traditional whitening methods FAIL on tetracyline stained teeth). Veneers allows us to have no limitations with blocking the color out.
